I really can’t deal with all these feelings right now.

I saw the Lucky Street Tour almost 2 months ago, and tonight it’s over.  I know it’s stupid, but it feels like the end of an era.  I’m going to really miss getting excited for the family’s upcoming shows and hearing stories and seeing pictures.  They have been getting me through the last couple weeks, and knowing that I’m not going to have that for a while is hard.  I know that there will be another tour soon and this whole thing will start again, but there is something special about this one.  I’ve made so many new friends because of the Lucky Street Tour and finally had people to talk to on those nights where I just needed to have a conversation.  There are people who didn’t even get to see the tour, but I think we did a pretty good job of making them feel like they were right there next to us, holding our hands and screaming the lyrics to our favorite songs.  That’s what made it so special.  It wasn’t about always physically being there, it was just the feeling that you were accepted into this wonderful family.  That’s what you guys are to me.  Family.  Go Radio brought us all together, but it was our decision to stay together.  The end of the Lucky Street Tour is giving me this terrible sense of losing you guys, so please prove me wrong.  I love hearing about your lives and discussing Go Radio everyday because it really brings a smile to my face.  The Lucky Street Tour has brought me so many wonderful things, and for that, I’m forever grateful.  I know that I’m never going to forget the night I got to experience it, but I’ll also never forget everyone else’s experiences.  The Lucky Street Tour will always have a special place in my heart.  It let me meet my heroes, meet amazing people, and have a brand new family.  Thank you so much to Matt Burke, who made me feel like I was there every night.  You captured the essence of the Lucky Street Tour in your photos and having those makes things a little better.  I hope Jason, Alex, Steve, and Matt have enjoyed this as much as we have.  Thank you so much for giving us nothing but hope and love when we need it most.  Although it’s sad to accept it’s over, I’m overjoyed you get to go home to your loved ones.  Home is a nice place to be.  I would know…the Go Radio family feels like home and it’s the best place I’ve ever been.

So, thank you, again, to Go Radio and Matt Burke and the Go Radio family and the Lucky Street Tour and everyone else associated with it.  I can only hope we’ll be lucky enough to have a tour even half as awesome as this one sometime in the near future.

Tonight was the last night of the Lucky Street Tour. The tour I saved all my money to go see, waited several months for, and replaced August 5th, 2011 as the best day of my life. I still remember the words I wrote on the back of the pictures in everyone’s care packages. I have never been so…

tears fully flowing atm.

This is what I walked into on March 30th.  This was the beginning of the best night of my life.  I wouldn’t take anything back and I would give everything to relive it.
